This photo was contributed by Melvon Olds and we are wondering if it is JOHN ALLEN OLDS. Susan Wind Simpson suggests it might be George W. Olds (John Allen's father) or Charles Franklin Olds (John Allen's brother). Is there anyone out there who could identify this photo positively? |

This photo is of the MACE family, taken abt. 1880 or so. It shows JOHN W.C. MACE and MARGARET ELIZABETH (SHANDS) MACE with children. Some of the children are from John's earlier marriage to Rebecca McCoy, and only the two younger children belong to Margaret Shands Mace. The young girl (middle) is Sarah Verona Mace who later married Robert Ira North. The youngest boy (middle) is John T. Mace. We are unable to definitely identify the other children in the photo. Is there anyone out there how can help?
This photo was contributed by William Hunt.
