Helpful Hints About the Program
| |
This symbol is used because the 'date of death' (DOD) is not
yet known and the field could not be filled in with particular data.
The program requires some information to be listed in this field or it considers
the person to be "living". Since there are numerous names of persons
born prior to the year 1900 without a DOD, this symbol was used in order
to allow the viewing of the data.

|
numbers in names (ie #1, #2) :
|
| |
Because identical names in a family are frequently repeated
from one generation to another, numbers are sometimes assigned to a name
in order to more easily locate and distinguish the individual. This is not
meant to indicate a "JR." |
| |
This program assumes that all couples with children are
married which may not always be the case. If there are children of a 'common
law situation' an indication may appear in the marriage column to clarify
the actual marital status of the couple. |
|
persons under the age of 20 yrs:
|
| |
The data on persons under the age of 20 yrs. is NOT displayed
in this program. We encourage you to offer the data on ALL family members,
however, so it can be maintained in the main PAF data base although not
available for public viewing. Once a yr. we will review the program and
an 'updated' list of those "under 20" will be made and new names
will be released at that time.
